Over 200 participants from more than 10 regions gather at CUHK to discuss health systems and community resilience lessons learnt during COVID-19
Professor Vernon Lee, Senior Director of Communicable Diseases Division, Singapore Ministry of Health, has shared Singapore’s COVID-19 experience and lessons learnt on 30 June 2023, providing insights for health system and community resilience.
The research findings inform policy for a cancer care and control strategy in Hong Kong with a focus on prevention and in particular early detection and cancer screening. It also identifies the gaps in the current service delivery and financing system in the cancer control continuum.
Our Hong Kong Foundation, in collaboration with the Centre for Health Systems and Policy Research at the JC School of Public Health and Primary, CUHK co-organised a luncheon symposium on the topic of “A Fit-for-Purpose Health System: Enabling Health for All” on 20 December 2021.
A study conducted by Prof EK Yeoh's team showed that other than the infectiousness of the source, the physical setting where the infection was transmitted played a key role in the propagation of the virus in society.
