Training in health systems and policy research: Designing the training materials, resources, tools, methods and frameworks; and developing a repository of knowledge products.

Policy forums relating to the application of health system and policy research on issues such as ageing, system reform, regulation of professionals, primary health care, quality and safety, etc.

With the above key components, we aim to apply health policy and systems research as a means to strengthen health systems – which includes generation of health policy and systems knowledge, promotion of its use in decision making to improve the performance of health systems, and strengthening researchers’ and decision makers’ capacity to engage in these efforts.
