COVID Report: Government Response Measures to COVID-19 – Key Policy Lessons, published at GOARN
This is a World Health Organization (WHO)-funded study on government responses to COVID-19 conducted by the Health Systems Impact Subgroup of the COVID-19 Social Science Working Group, led by Centre Director Prof EK Yeoh. This study examined key containment, control and mitigation policies and measures for COVID-19 in six middle/ high income jurisdictions in the Western Pacific Region (WPR).
A rapid review was also conducted on the preparedness and responses in the other countries and areas in the WPR. A panel of experts collated, analyzed and synthesized findings from published papers and documents by governments, the World Health Organization and international health agencies, and in the scientific literature. Insights for policy learning involved mapping of the experiences in the context of the other jurisdictions.
